Heat resisting austenitic stainless steels

Heat-resistant alloys are used at higher temperatures (above 670 °C) under load in specific gas environments and are indicated by acceptable levels of stress rupture and creep strengths that correspond to the required time of service. Such alloys are used in furnace components, heat exchangers, burners, furnace bells and automobile exhaust manifolds.
