Dr. Michael Rademacher
Vice Chairman of the Executive Board of ThyssenKrupp Stainless AG
Career
Dr. Michael Rademacher joined Thyssen Industrie AG in 1988 as manager of the accounting/finance department. In the same year he moved to the accounting department of Thyssen AG (now ThyssenKrupp AG). From 1993 to 1996 he was head of the performance analysis department there. From 1996 Dr. Rademacher was vice president responsible for the Investments department of Thyssen Stahl AG and later also of the corporate development and market and sales departments. At the same time he headed the corporate development department of Thyssen AG in Düsseldorf. In 1998 he was appointed vice president.
In March 1999 Dr. Rademacher took over as head of Corporate Controlling in Düsseldorf.
With effect from May 01, 2002, Dr. Rademacher was appointed deputy member of the executive board of ThyssenKrupp Stainless GmbH and in January 2003 regular member of the executive board of ThyssenKrupp Stainless GmbH. Since April 01, 2005 Dr. Rademacher has been a member of the Executive Board of ThyssenKrupp Automotive AG in Bochum. With effect from 1st October 2006 he was appointed Executive Board Vice Chairman of ThyssenKrupp Stainless AG in Duisburg.
